Changes to Global Health 2008/2010
Most important substantive changes:
- In various situations, ‘the Netherlands’ is replaced by ‘country of origin or where you reside’ (see Article 4);
- As regards medical expenses, the number of situations in which the costs of organ transplantation are reimbursed has increased (see Article 4.3a);
- If you require outpatients’ department treatment (previously specialist treatment) in the USA or Canada, you must first call the emergency centre (see Article 8.1.b and 8.1.b.1); The telephone number +31 (0)70 353 21 35 remains unchanged;
- Definitions have been included for maternity care (see Article 1.9) and accommodation costs (see Article 1.27);
- OOM Global Care N.V. is registered at the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM) under registration number 12.000.623. (see Article 1.12.b);
- OOM Verzekeringen is registered at the Chamber of Commerce under numbers 27194193, 27111654, 27155593 and 27117235.
All other changes are to the wording to improve readability or to the numbering of articles.
